Artist

Justine McRae

Originally from Mudgee, NSW, Justine is an experienced graphic designer, illustrator and artist, her work spanning everything from traditional painting to digital illustration to typography to photography. While she is passionate about all styles, her strength lies in photo-realism and she enjoys exploring the combinations of different mediums. One of her most recent exhibitions focused on food waste, featuring portraits made of decaying food, acrylic paint, hair spray and lead pencils. When she’s not teaching or working on her art, Justine can be found travelling or changing her hair colour and length to match the occasion.

I really enjoyed having a relaxing night doing something different with friends. And I actually painted something that I would put on a wall or give to a friend as a gift. I will be doing this again.
